Email Marketing - Step 5: Set up your autoresponders

These are your best friend when done right. They are emails that are sent automatically based on the triggers you set, such as:

  • A specific action, for example, when someone opts into your list - a welcome email is sent.

  • Timed release, such as a discount code being sent a week after signing up to your list.

Some ideas to help you build them into your campaign:

  • Birthday greetings – an oldie but a goodie

  • Bills, receipts, shipping confirmations, and other transactional emails

  • Product recommendations

  • Content built around visitor behaviour on your eCommerce website - heatmapping helps here.

  • Abandoned cart reminders
